Lab Partners - The Tylers & Cally on The Great Loop 2017

Lab Partners is a Rosborough RF-246, a Trailerable Trawler with 3 aboard; Cally (our yellow Lab) and the crew, Rip & Beth Tyler. The first Lab Partners was a Monk 36 Trawler when we set on a yearlong cruise to do the Great Loop, starting in April of 2017. 5,000 Miles into our Great Loop we sold the Monk 36; drove home, bought the Rosborough and are now (Jan 2019) back in Florida finishing our Great Loop. The Great Loop is the circumnavigation of the eastern half of the United States by boat!

M/V Lab Partners ... July 2013

The Monk: This is the boat we plan on living aboard for one year while we cruise the inland waterways of the United States. We purchased her in July 2013 and hope to leave about April of 2017 on The Great Loop. Here is a link to an article in Soundings Magazine about her from March 2015.
